Choose a single GPO Box address for your business, or opt for the same box number in each capital city by using our Common Box service.

A Locked Bag is perfect for a business receiving a lot of mail, especially those running competitions or promotions.

Pricing and set-up

You can lease a box or bag for up to one year and then renew it annually, if you want to. Please check at your individual PO Box location as PO Box sizes and availability may vary.

Our pro rata pricing runs from 1 April until 31 March the following year.

For new leases, you'll pay an establishment fee, and what's left of the annual pro rata price, depending on what month you take out your lease. The pro rata charge for each month is one twelfth of the annual fee.

Any lease that starts in February or March will include charges for a full year in addition to pro rata fees.

2 Specified pricing for CBD locations, or PO Box locations in high demand. Applies to PO Box services in Canberra, Hobart and Darwin GPOs and certain Post Offices as determined by Australia Post.

3 Excludes persons residing on houseboats, water / sea vessels or on a private road such as a caravan park, gated community, retirement village or defence force barracks. Only available for customers where Australia Post doesn't deliver to their residential or business address, and each non-delivery address is eligible for one reduced rate PO Box or locked bag at the nearest Post Office. (Note: assessment may take up to seven days. Customers may be changed to full rate if delivery circumstances change).

4 Business pricing applies for persons or entities carrying on an enterprise under an Australian Business Number (ABN), with the exception of not-for-profit organisations and unincorporated associations.
